Position Summary: The NIDS II Project needs a Software Engineer working in San Diego on an advanced targeting application for the United States Strategic Command. Work involves Ada software development from requirements to operational use in a mission-critical environment.

Training on customer's mission provided as well as team processes and tools training. Very little, if any, travel required. Enthusiasm to learn the customer's operational environment and their use of the software is important to provide effective software solutions. No clearance requirement to apply, but if accepted, will need to have a Secret clearance to work and be eligible for upgrade to Top Secret.

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years experience in Ada software development
• 3+ years experience in Software engineering overall
• Good understanding of the basic software engineering concepts
• 2+ experience working in team environments
• No clearance requirement, but must be capable of obtaining a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/scientific discipline, EE's welcome.

Qualifications Desired:

• GtkAda is not required but will be used on the project.
