This is the Readme file for the Ada Compiler Evaluation System (ACES)
directory tree. It describes the directory structure and identifies the
files in the various directories.

The ACES directory is rooted at http://www.adaic.org/compilers/aces/

This directory contains README.TXT (this file), WHERE-IS.UNZ, aces-intro.html,
background.gif, and four subdirectories.

The files aces-intro.html and background.gif are introductory documentation for
ACES.

The subdirectory /v2.1 contains the ACES version 2.1 (the current version). See
the ACES documentation for more information
(http://www.adaic.org//compilers/aces/aces-intro.html).

The subdirectory /info contains miscellaneous
notes and announcements that are made available for public comment. The
ASCII versions of the requirements and design documents are also in this
directory. Comments may be addressed to "phil.brashear@acm.org" (one of the
technical staff formerly responsible for the ACES).

The subdirectory /html contains an HTML version of the ACES manual.

The subdirectory /zip contains a variety of unzip programs for different
targets. See the file WHERE-IS.UNZ for more information.
